Realize that you need to actually grow up and have a family rather than a "babydaddy". Try dating men instead of boys.

I'd get a partner with a job. My girlfriends never had to lend me money (if that's what you mean by "owing"). And even if they would have, I - and just about any respectable man - would either pay what I owe right away or at least have the decency to say what's up.

In this life we have so many friends but few genuine friendships.
Remember, 99% of all people out there are just out for
themselves and/or for money or anything else they can get from us. We only want to be with the 1% who isn't.
Friends can be the type of people who use you for what you have, and most will take advantage of that, while faking sincereity that they actually care. They are high maintenance types, who want to be told how to do and say everything. They rarely offer their own answers to your questions but listen very carefully to every word that you say , because they want others to do their thinking for them. They are lazy, incompetent, are the reason why the divorce rates are so high, and are just plain losers!
Genuine friends don't ask for anything from you. They just want you to be happy and only want the very best from you, no matter what. They are low maintenance types too, who only want to share their lives and experiences with you and they want to grow as individuals too, with you. They can get anything material wants and needs for themselves because they have a high level of self confidence, self worth, and self esteem about themselves.
Given the choice, which would you rather have in your life?

He doesn't wanna talk 2 u coz he knows women don't forget...specialy about money their money.
He is avoiding u....that what i think tell him that u want ur money back and if he doesn't have it don't bother.
Men just make things worse.
Trusted me...i know u want the money but it seems like the brother ain't letin go of it.
So don't waste u time and beauty and move on.
p.s. don't give him money if he comes back for more bring up the money he owes u than u see him ran.

stop lending money. If he has to borrow money that means he needs a job or a better job.. Which ever the case you need to file for child support. You may never get your money you loaned back, but if you file for child support this may help him realize he has responsibilities.

He's not a close friend and he's probably just a sperm donor, not a daddy at all.
I'd forget the loser, but go get a child support order.

sounds like he's trouble. not showing up to avoid confronting you. Sorry. i have an irresponsible baby's daddy too. I would give him the cold shoulder for whenever he does show up again and see what happens.

There is only one thing you can do. Take this as a lesson learned. Don't lend money to your baby's dad.
