If America is soooooo bad! Why does everyone want to come here?

I get tired of people bashing the USA, some of which live here! If it is sooo bad then stay where you are. I am in a college that damn near caters to foreign students(they get all the good programs) yet all they do is complain about America.What gives,if your country is sooo great-STAY THERE

Dont be a hypocrite and come here to use the country for education and other resources...America has its faults but it is a great country! One of the reasons I love this place so damn much because it is a mixture of cultures and races and people!

America is awesome, but the government and politicians in power right now really suck. They are making America suck by taking away civil liberties and cutting taxes while racking up huge amounts of debt and instituting economic policies that are turning many middle class families into lower class, while their rich cronies get super rich.

I love my country but I fear my government.

I love the idea of this country, the history of this country. I do not love (or even like) decisions by the current government. As for the foreign students, it's easy to complain about a country that isn't yours. Lots of Americans bash France, most of the Middle East, North Korea, whatever. And just like any company, whatever, they're going to hear more from those with complaints and less from those who are satisfied. And I'm sure if we went to most of those countries, you'd have natives complaining about decisions made by their governments, unless they aren't allowed to. See, that's the really great thing about the U.S.A. If I don't agree with my government, I can say so without fear of retribution, which is why a lot of the decision of the Bush administration to spy on their people is scary. Without protections, there might be retribution, and then you won't hear anymore complaining, right?!

Because they don't know how bad it is until they get here. When you pay our rent and bills and when you give us a house and food then you can say where we can go or stay, while that happen we are here, and we will stay here you like it or not.

PS. Here in USA you have free speech right. So if I want to say anything about this country I can do it. And Any way you cannot make judgment because the majority of the immigrants love this country, what they don't like is racist people like you.

People usually complain when the things are not upto their expectations. May be such people expected much more and are disappointed. Its a different issue whether their country is same or better or worse. its not the matter of comparision for them.

People also complain when they are unable to follow, get through or not able to adjust. It happens with many of the foreigners. so, they complain, but its not that they dont like this place else they wouldn't have opted to come. Its only that they are unable to cope up with certain things. the moment they can, they will keep quiet, like many foreigners who settledin US.

so, no abuses and hatred. Lets try to understand it from humanitarian grounds and help them out. so that they complain less and we too feel better. got it ? Good luck. Bye

If you don't talk about, protest, or complain about the problems that exist in your country/government, then you are not a patriot of this country. A true patriot questions authority and focus on the real issues threatening their sovereignty.

These people who talk about the bad, obviously are more informed of the government's actions than you are. And if you're telling them to get out, then you obviously want them shut up and remain blind like you are.

Totally! I think if foreigners have negative things to say about our great country, they're just jealous that it's not THEIR country, and they're trying to make themselves feel better by putting us down. God Bless America! I love the USA.

Because where they come from, it is alot stricter there. In america, we have more options to be what we want to be instead of following just one option. They dont have that option to attend to a great school and besides we have the better so called education.I agree with you but they only come for the better education, nothing else matter to them.
