Not necessarily bad for your health, but organic fresh fruits would be much better for you.
Canned fruits are filled with preservatives, dye, and usually high fructose corn syrup. Also, they contain a higher amount of calories per serving, and added sugars. A serving every now and then won't be too harmful, but fresh fruit -- especially organic -- is the way to go!

Fresh fruit is better. Canned fruit has a lot of sugar and added preservatives. There has been a lot of negative press regarding the preservatives that we use in food. You should read up on them and then make the decision for yourself.
