Yes, Dearie, you do. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!
How it works is, if it is elective surgery--that is, non-essential--you do the whole thing. And, while organ transplants may be life- saving, they are classed as elective. In the case of emergency stuff, you are still liable for the charges, but the hospital does have to do it.
Bottom line, just because it's medical, doesn't mean you don't have to pay for it. Then again, medical charges are what's called unsecured loans, which means that, so long as you are making an honest atttempt to pay them off--which means you are paying a reasonable sum on a very regular basis--they cannot sue you for the total amount due.

There's no such thing as a free lunch (or surgery). Unless you have remarkable insurance, you're going to pay a heck of a lot. Most insurance companies (and Medicare) pay for 80% of necessary surgeries, but that still leaves you paying 20%.

depending on your coverage and plan that you have with your insurance company if your health is in jeopardy then your insurance policy should cover it.
If you having a hard time trying to convince your insurance to cover it look over your policy amd see what your coverage plan is in detail.

Your insurance company will cover most of the cost. If you don't have insurance, you're screwed.

let them no and they should give u a low complex plan. also suggest were you can get some help paying what bills are left over...

nothing is free, but if it is something like that you'll get billed. they have do do the surgery if you need it to live, but then you'll get a 15,000 dollar bill

If you have some sort of a health plan (which likely you do) it should be covered..

what are you talking about, this is a hospitial were talking about, they charge you for oxygen, a gas that is all around us and free everywhere else
