the amount of answers you can get for a question are unlimited .. but most questions get between 3 to 30 answers... just as well imagine how hard it is to pick an answer out of hundreds!

No limit, as far as I know. Stephen Hawkings got almost 2,000, and Al Gore was in the same ball park. Whether they actually READ all of them is another question! However, your question is how many can you get, and the answer is as many as people care to send -- and that probably depends on the question.

Lots of them, the celbs usually get 100-up to 3,000 some answers, but for normal questions the limit is usually 100,then yahoo answers doesn't allow you to answer the question.

Don't tell me...no wait I know this! Okay, I give up. Is it 42? It's usually 42. Or is that how many roads a man must walk down?

Not sure - I believe Yahoo puts a limit on how many can answer, but I don't know what that limit is.

looks like 34 right now...But the number can be much higher if you choose the right time of day to post your question. And if its clever enough people will jump to answer your question.
