There is grass in India but it depends greatly on the part of India as to the type of grass. Grass is avery general term. The climate range is India is very great, ranging from a very cold mountainous climate, to semi arid conditions in other parts of the country. Much of India also experiances a summer monsoon where there is nearly constant rainfall. There is not grass in parts of the country unless artificially irrigated, and in other parts it is simply too hot or to cold. India is one of the largest and most populated countries / regions in the world. This is like asking if there is grass in America. Not much in the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona. In the upper altitudes of the rocky mountains not much grows. In the Everglades swamp of Florida, and the swamps of the Mississippi Delta lots of grass grows, but it's not the type of grass that you would find in a lawn. So, is there grass in India?
