depends. as a MT you can either work for hotels, spas or saunas in which you'll probably get around 10-12 an hour to start, plus tips if they allow you to get them. if you do it personally as in opening up your own salon or something, you can charge as much as $50/hour. trouble is getting customers though. gotta market yourself.

Going rate in Florida is $60 per hour. In Atlanta at the nice parlors it is around $100. On the cruise ships and at the posh resorts a half hour rub down will cost $150 and up.

Depending on how pretty you are and your personality you can generate as much ormore in tips as you will in salary.

But--it takes 1500 hours of study and practice to get the license in Florida, about the same in Georgia andyou must be licensed to practice most anywhere, due to the old reputation that massages were fronts for prositution operations.

Not sure where "here" is, but on average you can make anywhere from $50-$100/hour. This depends on the techniques that you know, and if you work for yourself, or if you work for someone else. Typically, if you live or work closer to a major city, you could earn a lot more than you would living in the country or suburbs.

If you are independent you could make up to 70 or more dollars an hour. You would have to be able to compete with men in the hand strength department though...
