Because people are vain and shallow. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder, because if it wasn't, then everyone would expect to marry Brad-Pitt look alikes. They think that a person's appearance sums up everything about a person, when in reality looks fade. The people that do call someone ugly are insecure and they feel that they have to put someone else down to feel good about themselves. God did create all of us in His glorious image and because of that we all are beautiful in some way. Maybe not to "society" but God loves each and everyone of us and real beauty is on the inside.

I agree with you, there are no ugly people. We are all in God's image. In my opinion, the human race inherently notices differences. Whether it's skin color, gender, the way you look, etc. At times this can be a negative trait, as in distinguishing who the beautiful people are and who are not. Kudos for you for asking a question we should all be thinking about.

ok we are all beatiful in our own way and everyone has different taste when it comes to girls. oh and we where not created by god we evolved hence the animal insticts like jealousy
