#2...It's better to have loved and lost...

Kinda sad, huh?

I feel like when a person falls in love they have no choice in the matter. I could fall in love with a married guy twice my age, a young gay stud, or my female best friend. Being in love with someone you can't have would be at least...tolerable, and more so as time went by.

I think there are different degrees of "don't truly love". You can be with somebody and not be truly, madly, deeply, in love, BUT...you can love their smile, their hug, their companionship, their intelligence, thei rsense of humor, their cooking, their dog...

Everybody is not lucky enough to find that person that rocks their world...but then, some people are content to just rock in the chair on the front porch!

If I had to choose...I'd want the companionship.
