My analyst began our first session with the words "Hi, I'm Glen, your trick cyclist" Am I about to waste my money?

Yes, youa re indeed about to waste money. This guy sounds like HE needs an analyst! Find someone who is more professional and less glib.

I think that Glen was just trying to make you feel comfortable. But, he bungled the job, badly. A person who is licensed to practice therapy should have better training and better sense.

But, analysis is a tricky prospect. You never know how things will turn out. You might want to try one more session. If Glen doesn't do a better job of gaining your confidence, find another analyst.

if you want to learn how to unicycle and do bmx stunts really well then stick with Glen, I hear he can do a 360 endo while juggling fireballs so he must be good

U should have answered "hi, i'm chuckie.. u wanna play?!". Maybe he was testing your creativity, sense of humor and speed-answer abilities. If the rest of the conversation was normal.. u can reconsider . If the rest of the conversation was all the same kick his ***.
