war....I do blame the Bush Administrations descions on the rising cost of oil. I sold those contracts for $4.7 million after the Katrina Hurricane.

Was it egocentric of me or a natural capitalist behavior to vote for dubbya and donate $1,000 to the Bush Campaign, knowing he is doing more harm to this country then good?

it makes me feel like you remember the first Bush and said to yourself... "if we have another one... I'll know what to do"

it's really not rocket science...

but at the same time... which is more important... the good of everyone... or your personal good... it seems that many of the wealthy put themselves first... perhaps that's why they are wealthy... but they have to live with it... as do you..

If you would have bought condom futures before Clinton and sold them at a huge profit after Clinton I could not care less than I do about your fictitious purchase of oil futures. Why do you have to make up such a complicated story to say you hate Bush?

Ironically somebody mentioned republicans "screwing the people" when it was Clinton that actually did this in the Oval Office.

I have no quarrel with you having made a nice profit on your oil contracts. You took an intelligent risk, and it paid off -- that's what futures contracts are for. I do have a quarrel with your claim that GWB is doing more harm than good. Although I take serious issues with some of his ideas, he has gotten it right on some of the biggies. But to debate that here would go beyond the scope of your question.

I doubt you did either of those actions. But being the greedy liberal you are you wish you had been that smart. *LOL* But if you were that smart and had made that much money you would be a Republican and wouldn't be gloating over your gains.

The fact you 'say' you donated $1K to the Bush campaign shows you are really a broke Democrat. Bush isn't running for office any more. Hasn't been running for office since November 2004.

It's what Bushies care about.Money.Not God,not morals(please),not the people, just the stocks of the few to screw the working class more and more. How very patriotic.

I once suggested that all American have health care so that there be greater solidarity among us and raise support for the war. It'll never happen because the Insurance companies, ran by rabbid Republicans one and all, would stand to lose billions.Nice.

why not put the profit to good use and start or loan the money to small start up business with low cost and high risk if you like the gamble .then in a few years you can say you are part owner of 10 profitable companies and give several working men jobs in the process.
