Corpus Christi is the bomb. Go stay at the OMNI or less expensive the Sheraton. Hang out with the locals downtown in the evening. There is a cool surfers museum downtown. I love the Aquarium and both museums. Mustang Island State Park is awesome with showers to boot. Take a tour of the bay of a boat and don't forget to eat at landrys or a more local place on Rodd Field Road (forget the name, but it's right thereon the corner of south padre island drive and rodd field road. great little park not far off with lots of paths and you can bike all along ocean drive to cole park. I envy you I miss Corpus Christi. I lived there for years. Now I am in San Antonio. It's pretty here. Go to brackenridge park and the museums are free on Tuesday evenings. We have 3 really nice museums. North Star mall is nice and of course sea world, and fiesta texas. Downtown is beautiful on the river, a little pricy, but a must see. Have fun.

the river center, the alamo, Six flags, sea world, the quarry, the tower of the americas, schlitterban, river walk, ghost hunt, the missions,
the river walk has many options for night life
there are clubs and a lot of restaurants and historical sites around it.
also u can try clubs outside the downtown are like:
tequila republic, planeta , Antro, cowboys, senses mega culb, aruba, ..... sams burger joint, the white rabbit
downtown: polyesters, howl at the moon, the bonham exchange, .....
these are the the coolest places to go in SA.
