I have been relieved of my position because 2 other girls jobs were eliminated. I am wondering if the union has to protect me and provide me with another job. I have been unfairly let go because these two others have seniority over me

Seniority tends to take precedence in union contracts, particularly if they are also qualified for your job. However, if you've been paying Union dues, the union should have some sort of program in place to help you out and help you find a similar position elsewhere. Talk to your union rep about how they can help you, but don't get antagonistic with them.

No. If for legitimate business reasons the company cannot make use of your services, a union will not save your job.

You are stupid! You were NOT unfairly let go! you were let go because you had less seniority! Do you think the other people who were with the company longer than you should have been let go? No!
