Assuming this technology has been distributed to everyone, then of course. Everyone focuses on the boredom, but the world is always changing. There will always be new experiences and as long as you aren't chrnoically ill they will be enjoyable. Just think about all the things you'd be able to see.

I think this is a question no one can honestly answer. It may be that after a while, as others above have stated, the world would get boring.
On the other hand if we could travel the reaches of outer space, think of the experiences we might find, the other civilizations and consciousnesses we might meet!
A few years ago a lot of people were saying that the next generation would be the ones that get to live forever. I think the idea was either super medicine or that people would be able to upload into chips and then have any body they want.
I think that's pretty much baloney, though there may be some super-rich people who will be able to afford it.
But what joy is there for a brain in a jar? I think we would quickly lose our reasons for loving life...
But on the other hand, I don't really want to die, do you?

Actually, I believe that in some form that we do live forever. I believe in an afterlife and in our eternal existence. The thought of suddenly ceasing to exist is what is mind boggling. The thought of death as just a transition is much more appealing. Therefore the question is a moot point. we do live forever. but would I live forever as a mortal being? If I could enjoy good health and didn't have to age beyond a certain point. If I could enjoy life and travel to many places and do many things than I would like that, but if I had to live forever in a comatose state, or with debilitating illness, than no thank you..

No one can prove we do not or do. Remember in atomic form we live for ever. You probably right now have atoms from many humans who have lived before you. So atomically we do live forever. If you mean spiritually we can assume life is a energy form when this life force energy is removed our body is dead but energy is always there and never goes away it just changes and changes until it becomes a human again. So we do continue for ever and that is just the way thing are.

Heck Yes I would, ya it'd be hard seeing like my family and friends that I am continuously making die... and loosing loves and such.... but Think of ALL that you will see. I'm SO curious what the world will be like in 200 years.... well actually I take that back I dont want to live forever just like 150 more years.. thats all.... I dont really want to see our world come crashing down because I think it will not long after that :-X I mean think of it just like 5 years ago, what was as camera phone and Ipod or a hybrid car? sure they were ideas and we saw them and was like whatever who need that now everyone has one... so just imagine in 30 years what we'll have! ugh exciting...or is it scary? who knows.

Curiosity would also make me want to say yes. I would probably go mad after a century or so tho. Even roaming around the earth when all humans are extinct would be worth it.
