Killers, thieves, rapists, and other convicted felons will be given the right to vote. Many from prison itself.
Didkn't these people give up their rights when they took away the rights of their victims?

Somebody asked where I got my information. Guess they didn't believe me. Good. I'm glad he/she didn't just take my word for it. I'm impressed.

There, that's more than three, which is more than the New York Times uses.

Yes, as much as I can't stand Hillary, I think giving felons-who have done their time, and are not on probation or anything, should have their voting rights reinstated. They are still citizens, and have paid their debt.
Maybe, if they felt like they mattered, they would try to keep straightened out.
How many non-felons vote? It is a disgrace that our country is going to hell, and the only people who care are the fat-cats and the old people. Poor people hardly ever vote, minorities don't vote, and young people think it is a big stupid joke. Look at the big stupid jokes we have in the White House and Congress who were elected by SOMEONE ELSE who DID vote.
VOTE!

I can see your point but just because because they're felons doesn't mean they don't have opinions too. Do you like the president? Imagine if you were a felon, sitting in jail or prison or whatever, wouldn't you still want to have a say in the voting? Just because they're felons doesn't mean they don't have the same political views as the rest of us, right? And I belive they should have a say in the voting (to an extent) but I DO see your point in the matter. They did give there rights up when they committed their crimes but they are still human and maybe, jsut maybe if they did have the right to vote, then we wouldn't have wound up with such a lousy excuse for a president! BUT THAT IS JUST MY OPINION!!

Now that prison's are becoming privatized it's big business, it's even on the stock exchange under corrections. So, yes they should be able to vote. We put people is prison for stupid things. Sometime look up how many companies use prison labor for $0.25 an hour. There are over 4000 laws on the books and they added 800 last year. Don't be blinded by fear of violent criminals. See the big picture here.

No I do not. But I'm sure the felons like the idea because they will be able vote for all of the soft on crime candidates.

no. Killers, thieves, rapists must not have a right to vote. NO WAY! These are the scum of the earth and if she has really done it, I would say it is the worst decision ever made. However, I would cut some slack on those who, well, have committed minor felonies. These should be at least be taken into consideration. . .

Honestly why not. The majority of any given city doesn't vote already. If you look at the number of voters( in any given election) vs. the census for that city you will see that there is a fair percentage that do not vote. I think that they are aware of that and are trying to find new voters. Because how much does your vote truly count when the Electoral college is responsible for putting every Present in office.

Giving felons the write to vote is like giving sex offenders open season on little kids. This has got to be a smear campaign.

NO. In South Africa the criminals already get to vote once election time comes.I think it is wrong. When convicted you should loose most of your rights as you have violated the rights of others. Unfortunately the Human Right Organization Of SA does not agree.I think they are a lot of pansies.
