Buy an herbicide at the garden center. It will kill the plant from the roots up.

Hi
Try 'Root Out' by Dax Products from good garden centres or telephone 0115 526 9996 or fax 0115 966 1173. It kills trees, stumps, brambles and weeds. It really does what it says on the packet. Can either be used in crystal form or mixed with water.

I used it to get rid of ivy and it was the only thing that worked.
Good luck

First, spread rock salt around the branbles. Water them, when its in the Sun. This will kill the bramble. Do this a few times..(the watering, liberally while in the sun treatment), until the leaves are all dead.

Then, cut them down to the ground level and not worry about them again. If they "DO" happen to start growing again, next year, spread the rock salt around them and water them again, it will kill them very quickly with the sunshine on it.

I do this to many things, when we want to get rid of them, even trees!

I wish you well..

Jesse

The best way is to use SPK, ideally it's for use on trees. If you cut your brambles back hard and then wait for it to reshoot you'll then find that spraying with SPK will kill them. They do layer themselves at their growing tips, so by cutting them back hard you'll have found where all the plants are.
