My site will be on the line of www.askmen.com or www.people.com. I want to know how to get ads from different sources.

Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Well, you'd have to have a unique advertising idea to begin with. Maybe you can start a blog first, go into chat rooms, see if anyone is interested in your online advertising. Ask friends, or join an online club. As for charging, you have to have a solid idea before you think of the fees. You may want to charge in packages, from cheap to expensive once you're established. I have an advertising co. in Richmond , va that's distributed with a magazine. Maybe that would help you. Also, you could put your clients' sites on your website, guarantee hits, and charge them by volume.

Try Google's Adsense: https://www.google.com/adsense/

I'm not sure how much you can make, but I have heard good things from people that used this service.
