I lived in the US for a year and had a good Ukranian friend when I was there. So yeah, apply at your embassy.

If you stick to the tourist areas and dont take chances.

Otherwise there is alot of the US that I wouldnt recommend any non-US citizen visit right now. Not even someone from England or Canada

The US should sell the statue of liberty to Canada

You would need a visa, which is not always so easy to get. You would pretty much have to prove that you are not planning to stay in US and would go back home once your visa is over. I say, give it a try. The worst case scenario is that you get rejected.

You need a visa, babe. Only some countries in Europe have a visa free-regime with US.
