i might put a feeler raise in this position just to see where everyone is at, if you get re raised, you probably dont have the best hand and can get away from it. every situation in poker is independent of every other situation (chip stacks, position, table images, tournament/cash game scenarios, pots odds, etc.) so you need to think about what is the right decision for that particular situation

jeff6683's answer is pretty solid. One thing he didn't ask is the structure of the game though. Is it limit or no-limit (or less likely pot-limit or spread limit) ? Either way he is correct to be raising but if you are playing limit the raise is a no brainer - if it is no-limit, making the decision to raise is no longer enough - you have to decide how much to raise. That decision is going to be based on multiple factors all having to do with that individual player.
You aren't going to get a better answer than Jeff's so give the guy 10 points :)

I would absolutely raise the pot so you can go head 2 head and knock everyone else out. If you don't and they stay in your risk of losing is quite hight. Before you listen to what I say it also depends how much he bet. If he bet enough to knock everyone else out then call. I would likely place him on a pair of queens with a lesser kicker or a straight draw. Odds are you likely are fine heads up however what happens on the turn will be interesting. He likely will check 2 you and then u have to decide what to do,
just my humble opinion

A pair of queens would have me concerned about an overcard coming on the later streets...
I'd overbet the pot and try to win it right there. If the early position better re-raises, I'd fold.

One lady even plays while shes on the phone with customers lol she refuses to stop playing once she told a customer to hold because she flopped a set and won like 4 million chips in one hand. Yea so I dont know where to buy them but I just wanted to share my facebook poker story lol :))

Raise. Your opponent could have the nuts but since they limped in they probably have a Q with weak kicker or an A with a weak kicker. The raise will telegraph a good hand and will probably induce the others to fold.

Tiffany is absolutely right, if you believe from what you have learned about him from future hands that he will chase a gutshot straight draw, then by all means you need to make his pot odds unfavorable, because according to the fundamental theorem of poker you gain when your opponent plays in a way other than how they would play if they could see your cards.

i'd re- raise....right now I have top pair w/ a decent kicker...this is probably going to get the big blind to leave...there's a good chance the other guy's on a draw.....go for the gusto though...if he wants to see those other cards, he's got to pay up
