Do you act as your "real self" when you meet new people?

I generally act like myself -- although, most people have some sort of "home personality" and "public personality." I doubt I would show my "just woke up and haven't had a shower" personality to too many people. (It's not pretty...)

Generally speaking, I think I am the same person in public. With me, what you see is what you get! My theory has always been to win people over based on being real.

No, I always put on my best face when I meet someone new. I want to make a good first impression. I try to keep it up but eventually they meet the real me, but by then they probably like me enough to give me a break. Sometimes I'm really nervous and shy, like on a job interview, but if they end up giving me work after all, I relax and then I'm a whole different person, but that's usually a pleasant surprise for them.

I act completely myself when meeting new people, from like friends and stuff. From the jokes i make to how i act, I am completely myself. If they like me, great, and if they don't, oh well.

its pretty much silly to make ppl like the person im not. so me is all i got & all i am. im proud of what i got & the faults i cant change by my self. and its an honour the give ppl what is real.

I am usually always "myself" - no airs, no pretending, no trying to sell myself to people. You either like me or you don't. For me, I love myself and I don't have to try to be something I'm not.
