I don't understand the motive behind your question from the way it is worded, but I do know the European settlers arrived on their land, took it over by force, and did everything in their power to MAKE Indians invisible by herding them up & placing them on reservations.
When your goal becomes mere survival, things like the NBA and Hollywood are hardly priorities. Continuation of your own life and culture in the face of years of opposition & oppression is what's most important.
I guess they keep forgetting to teach us this in American History class....

because they own tons of casinos in the california desert. they are making too much money to care about hollywood. but there is an awesome indian guitar player in Guns For Hire.

You need to broaden the scope of you entertainment resources.
Indigenous is a Native American band. They've toured with the likes of Carlos Santana.
There are tons of independent Native American record labels, publishing companies and even film production companies.

for one they aren't Indians because this is not India. this was their land and it was stolen and genocide was committed and that is why there are so few NATIVE AMERICANS.
