the buffer for my cd-writer is not working, so i can't burn any cd-s. what should i do?

please help me... i can't burn a cd anymore. how can i fix the problem with the buffer?

i guess it's hardware, because nero is working. i can burn dvd-s for example but no cd-s...

It is a hardware or software probleme? if it is software verify setting of your burning program - like Nero and free some space on your hard-disk it is about hardware well buy other device :0

i dont know because the same thing is wrong with my HP laptop...i'm going to take mine back to BESTBUY to try and get it fixed...maybe you should do the same :o)
