In terms of the traffic issue I mean, I know that the Bay Bridge is technically a shorter route, but I'm wondering if it has worse traffic. Also, how long will it take me? I'm trying to get to the A's game at 7pm.

San Mateo, definintely. It has much less traffic. You might make it over the bay bridge and arrive by 7, but you'll probably barely make it, then have to line up to park. I doubt if you'll be inside for the opening pitch.

Bart really is a much better option, both fremont and dublin/pleasonton lines will take you right there.

Both routes are bad. Sorry. Personally, I'd take San Mateo bridge just to avoid the construction on the Bay Bridge. I hate 880...

I haven't lived out there for a few years, but the San Mateo was always jammed bumper to bumper way past 7. BART is your best bet if you're going to the Coliseum
