I loved it except for two things. One, they gave him a kid. He's never had a kid in the comics or any other tv show, radio show or movie. Why does he have one now. Two, though I thought she did an ok acting job, Kate Bosworth is just too young to be Lois Lane. Her character is mom to a 7 or 8 year old, is an established reporter and has won a pulitzer. I just don't think someone at 25 would be all those things. Especially since she would have only been out of college 2 or 3 years. Other than that I thought it was great. Kevin Spacey was awesome as Lex Luthor.

personally i found that it sucked. Not real hard but enough for me not to be entertained the whole time. Compared to other recent super hero movies such as Spider-Man, the movie just failed to immerse me in the whole Superman Universe. The story was also so slow to start that I missed the last 40minutes of the movie and didn't even feel bad about it.

6on 10 if you ask me and the rating is because im a fan or else ide give it maximum 5.

Best movie I've seen all year can't wait for the DVD, I'm actually watching the original movie now. There should have been a different Lois Lane, she just didn't have the Lois thing, and Kevin Spacey impressed me a lot as Lex Luthor, I didn't think he would pan out actually better than Gene Hackman I think. Superman was awesome and very hot.

wanna know some fun facts bout Routh?? well.. since i worked in a movie magazine.. so i think it's quite reliable:

1. He was a bartender an once won a costume competition wearing when he wore Superman costume.

2. He was picked becoz the filmmaker was looking for someone whose face is quite similar to the late Christopher Reeve.

3. I bet you really like this one... Well, do u know that they reduce the size of his *beep* using computer since he has an extra size *beep*? Can u imagine it in a very tight suit? bwahaha.....

It was like a soap opera, when did Lois lane and superman get pregnant???!!!! It sucked like hell!!!! I wasted more than an hour of a chunk out of my life and i wish i could get my money back!!!
But then again, I guess making movies aren't that easy for everyone.
NOt that i care, I'm not one of those movie junkies. NOt obsessed, it's just....you know? That's not how Chris Reeves did it.

I loved it. The villains were funny and menacing. Superman was a hottie. There were lots of small touches I liked, like they brought two stars of the old TV show, who played Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, for cameos, and the sets were lovely. Good movie, I recommend it, esp. if you like the genre.

I actually liked it... a lot. I thought it was going to be bad and ruin the entire Superman franchise, but I was surprised to find myself drawn to it while watching it. glad I saw it.

to the above poster, Lois & Superman had sex in the 2nd film I believe, when he gave up his powers briefly, this is kind of the follow up to that particular film

I liked it, but not loved it. It seemed like Kevin Spacey was bored and the little kid, the love child from Louis, looked like the kid from the Omen. The effects were cool, but not mind blowing.

Also, there was so much set up for the sequel that this movie's story line wasn't that interesting.

It was ok but was a bit disappointed. I was expecting more action (ala tomb raider) and a little less drama. And to think they spent $210 million on it
