For you to smile and enjoy.. The warmth of a huge yellow sun, the beauty of a clear blue sky, the green shade given by the leaves of a large, old tree. And the red of blood, to freak you out so you'll get to a hospital.

The Sun is yellow because of the temperature it is burning at.
The sky is blue because 70% of the Earth's surface is water and the sky reflects that colour.
Leaves are green because of the Chlorophyll that helps the leaves photosynthesize.
Blood is red because of the iron in the Red blood cells that oxygenates our blood.

the sun is actually kind of red i think and the sky is blue cuz god made it that way and leaves are green cuz of like chlorophyl or something and blood is red because of the blood cells

There is no non-scientific reason.
Sun is yellow because it is half-way through its main-sequence evolution[1].
Sky is blue because of Rayleigh scattering of nitrogen molecules.[2]
Leaves are green because they contain Chlorophyll[3].
And the blood is read because it contains Red blood cells.[4]

My dear friend you need not put in bracket that "not scientific"
because science we know is far far behind mother nature
I have been thorough out student of sciece and I feel the same
way as you do....the fact is science does not answer 3rd why?
it will tell you sky is blue because of water is blue...and water
is probably blue because it is H2O ..but why H2O blue?
so you are right we are just at secondary or tertiary stage of knowing why ? and there may me so may layers...to understand
the whole mystry of universe...thats why I humby suggest we
need to come out of test tube labs and stock exchanges..
and be one with nature spiritually ...and share our gifts..to know more and enjoy more..
