I have lived in Vegas for years and earned my Masters in Education from UNLV. The school is known for its hotel admin. program and other business programs related to the hospitality industry. The library on campus is nice and a good place to study and the campus itself is great to walk, but a pain to park. It can be expensive because they are constantly building new buildings and fees increase with each one. The town of Las Vegas as seen on TV is actually just on one street called "The Strip" the rest of the town has schools, great restaurants, museums, hiking, parks, malls...all normal.
