I am having my glucose test in a couple days and was told not to have any sugar the night (or morning) before. Does anyone have suggestions for a YUMMY meal with absolutely no sugar in it? I'm 26 weeks pregnant, so am feeling very picky right now...

I had my test on Friday, I am 28 weeks pregnant. I had a bagel w/cream cheese that morning and a glass of milk. I got a call yesterday saying that my sugar was high, i have to go in this Friday now for a 3 hour test. Be really careful what you eat prior to this test girlie! I thought I had it in the bag. It had me! I was also told that bagels, white breads and pastas all break down into suger when they enter your body. Good luck. I look forward to seeing some of the responses.

that's strange that they told you to have no sugar...i am on my second pregnancy and have had this done both times (and the 3 hour test also) and they have always told me to have a normal meal and then fast for 3 hours before the test. For my 3 hour test I had to fast for 12 hours but prior to that they told me to eat normally...so I really don't know what that is about?
