It depends...
Most times when you go off "the pill"... your cycle will slowly return to it's previous pattern.

More than likely, pills don't regulate blood. Pills do regulate your period because it releases an even level of hormones and prevent your ovaries from releasing an egg. The pills works by tricking your body into thinking its pregnant so it wont ovulate. So everyday you take a pill you tell your body "I'm pregnant don't ovulate" That one week you are off you have your period. Once you go off the pill your system could be very regular but 30 to 34 days is not considered irregular. I used to have my periods on the 10th of every month like clockwork and that is every 31 days or so. I am on the pill and now start my period on every 4th Saturday.
If you are trying to get pregnant getting off the pill might help. Many women get pregnant as soon as they get off the pill. Everyone on here has a different opinion but your periods were not irregular to begin with.

I REALLY disagree with doctors who put women on the pill 'to regulate' their cycles. The pill regulates bleeding - not ovulation! And the hormones can wreck havoc on any semblance of balance in the body! If you're trying to get pregnant I suggest seeing a doctor who specializes in infertility - you'll waste time going on the pill...

Yes, it will get back to the way it was,
though it will take some time for it to happen, so dont freak out after you stip taking the pill and it doesn't get back to normal right away.

it depends on your body and how it responds to the pill. talk to your doctor and explain to him/her and let him/ her know the deal. if you are still concerned question again until you feel comfortable with you cycle. good luck.

It'll probably stay regulated for a long time, maybe even forever.
