"Hezbollah" (Arabic: حزب الله, meaning Party of God) is a Lebanese Islamist Shiite armed movement and political party, with a military arm and a civilian arm. It was founded in 1982 with the declared aim to fight the Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon that lasted until 2000. Today, Hezbollah is led by its Secretary General, "Syeed Hassan Nasrallah".
"Hezbollah" has some members in Lebanon parliament. Also, their military branch was founded by Lebanese militias for defense their country against Israel.
This is their right to defense their country against Israel barbarism.
The most of parties in Lebanon including, Lebanon government are supporting "Hezbollah" as well.
In the other side, Israel is a hostile country in middle east. Since it was founded till now, they are killing innocents, running out Palestinian of their country, assassinated protesters, invading other countries and occupy some other countries such as "Palestine", "Lebanon", "Syria", "Egypt" and threating the whole of the region.
US is supporting Israel regime for a long time including, giving them WMDs, political supports, etc. So, US is Israel accomplice.
Lebenon doesn't have a powerful army, so "Hezbollah" is only resistance against Israel aggressor and offender army.

Hizbollah was founded by the Ayatollah (leader of Iran) as a way to export a Shi'a revolution to Lebanon and to aggravate Israeli interests in the area.

They were created after Israel took more land in the 7 Days War after its creation in 1948 (on land stolen from Palestine). Its purpose is to drive Israel out of Arab land. It uses terrorism because direct conflict failed in the 7 Days War because the West supported Israel.

i thank persian - boy for his answer i wouldnt say it better myself i just want to add this .
hizbollah porpuse of kidnapping the two soldiers is not war wih israel .its the last thing hizbullah wants now . hizbullah took these two soldiers to get out our four prizoners that israel kidnapped from lebanon . one of them has been in israel for 28 years & non of the western countries adopted our case & israel refused to let them out . that was the only porpuse of hizbullah from this operation .
