No, and why should I? He has never done anything to any country in the world except Iran. What can I say? He has had bad relations (with his own relations) and some distinct societies within the country's sovereign border. What can I say? He tells the west to buggar-off. What can I say?
The only weapons and cash the guy ever had he got from U.S. federal agencies and that was no secret. WHAT CAN I SAY? If you dupe a not so bright guy like Saddam, kick him around long enough and then get a phony alliance to gang up on the guy, you tend to draw a little sympathy from groups (all over the world) already at odds with US foreign policy.
The insurgent movement is like the oil fields - there is so much in supply to meet the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly demand. They will make Vietnam look like an exercise; in a fraction of the time!

Saddam Hussein is a product of a manipulative and corrupt American government. Americans hired him as a CIA agent, they put him into power of Iraq and ultimately created the "monster" that they inevitably destroyed. Saddam Hussein is actually a very cunning (although barbaric) politician. His stronghold on the Iraqi people although at first glance may seem tyrannical, is actually him doing exactly what America knew he was going to do, b/c Americans wanted first hand dibs on Iraqi oil, so they put one of Bush's puppets in power.

I do not hate Saddam Hussein, but I don't know the man, he might be nice if you over-look the terror he has caused. I just don't like his tactics.

When you hate someone, you become no better than the other person. Nothing wrong with disliking Saddam intensely, knowing the monster that he is, and believing that he has lived too long.

I don't hate anyone, but I'll bet there are some Kurds up in northern Iraq that would like to see him on the end of a rope, and I can't say that I blame them.
