I see a few people everyday with cell phones, call me crazy but I just don't see this cell phone thing taking off,

You havent seen people on cell phones?Im 20 years old, i got my cell phone when i was 15, and thats when everyone of my friends started getting them, now i see kids younger then that talking on sell phones all the time. Grandparents are getting cell phones. But back to your question, yeah i just dont know who else can they catch on to, since i cant go anywhere now with out seeing people on their cell phones anywhere from 10 year olds to 70 year olds

in Katy everyone has a cell even little kids 10 years i have 1 and now with the new tech. cell phones might replace mp3 players like the rocker or the sliver or the razor all of it is so cool and they are staring to have Internet on cells so it probably will catch on it already has here

It took off a long time ago. Cell phones are becoming the standard in telecommunications and, even now, you can practically have a computer cell phone.

Ya then next thing people will be watching and listening to satellite TV and Radio and paying for it. I think I am going to invent a phone without cords, a screen, type writer keys and name it after a fruit, perhaps it will be refered to as the Raspberry.

Where do you live? Everywhere I go, everyone I see has one. While I don't agree with it, I've even seen kids walking around with them. It has definitely taken off where I am (Connecticut).
