because they think that they know everything and just want to boss you around. i know i have one. but the best thing is that she doesn't know everything. I do.

Well, she may be. She may be as mean to you as the day is long. Ya nev-vah know.... But then again, she may be just having her own life and you may be trying to insert yourself where you don't belong. Again, how are we to know ?
As you grow older, the gap between you two will get smaller and by the time you are adults it will be almost non-existent. What you can do now is examine your own behavior (since you surely can't control HERS) and make sure you aren't being a brat AND that you are respecting her possessions and her "space" and not expecting her to make you part of her world. That's the best you can do and hopefully she will give you the same kind of good treatment.

Sibling Rivalry. It doesn't mean they don't love you. It is just that sometimes when your younger having someone always in your space can seem bothersome. What is the age difference between you and your sister? Do you share a room? I would suggest making friends with people that are not friends with your sister so you each have time to do your own thing.

because thats how they roll lol. well when the older sister was born they got lots of attention love and affection from the parents. and when the younger sister is born they get a lil jealous because they dont get as mjuch attention etc.

I had problems with my youger sister because we are 8 1/2 years apart. She was ALWAYS getting into my stuff and wanting to be there at ALL times!! i love her to death but girls are really big on needing their own space especially at home. Really sisterhood issues appear near puberty which can cause most girls to be really mean.

I know you said almost..but my little sister is way meaner to me..than I am to her.
Its that whole alpha female thing that women have..the same reason that your mom gets that look on her face when she looks at you in the rear view mirror that makes you shrink down in your seat...its just to show dominance...

i dont know. i was the younger sister.. and middle child.. my sister put dirt in my mouth when i was little. then she stole my bike. when i asked her why she was so mean she said "i dont know. because im supposed to be"

sometimes it's just cause the younger one(s) is/are either being annoying or a downright b**** & need to be straightened out.
