admired as tall individuals, but rather short. meaning the shorter the better. like a person being 5'2 or 4'10 yet remaining naturally slim?

all of the leonardo and michealangelo paintings had plump chicks. it was consider buetiful back then. taste in women and men change over time.

No, the reason is that models are literally clothes hangers. The model is there to make the clothes look good, NOT vice versa. Clothing just drapes better and shows more movement on a tall person.

I think models as admired "role models" is vastly overrated.

Time was runway models had to be a certain size because that's the size the couture clothes were.

That's changing, thank God.

I dunno but, because the human body, supposedly, is man's most beautiful sight Maybe there'd be no use for human models in 100 years, maybe robots will model clothes, so instead of humans starving themselves to fit into Versacci or Prada, there'd be a button to press and the robot would become any size.

i already see it happening eva from America's next top model is not all that tall.....and she was chosen to be a model....so i think in the near future it may possibly be like that

styles change. I think in the future, full figured women will be the mainstream for models.
