Our granddaughter was born on February 29, 2000. We celebrate either the day before or the day after. She doesn't understand why we joke about her only being a year old. I guess she'll appreciate it when she's older.

I personally know someone who celebrates either Feb 28 or Mar 1 and every four years has a big to do bash in his backyard.

My cousin does. He celebrates it on March first every year - except every four, when its actually his birthday. Then he has a really big party. He likes it, because he's forty but can tell people, honestly, that he's ten. :D

i usually send bday wish to my friend in between 28th and 1st...meaning that on 12am...hehe...
they are special...can either celebrate after 28th or on 1st or none. up to them...
