if its z^2=25 answer is z=+5 or -5
if its z*2=25 answer is z=12.5

Since 2 times z would be written as 2z and not as z2, I would assume you mean z squared.

If you did mean z squared, then the answer is:

z squared = 25

so looking for the the numbers that would satisfy the given equation,

z= 5, or z= -5

both will satisfy the equation.

5*5= 25
(-5) * (-5) = 25

In most cases though, 5 would be good enough.

5 or -5 because 5 * 5 = 25 and -5 * -5 = 25

You mean z^2 = 25
Depending on the function domain
1- Either z = 5 z is a positive integer
2- z = 5 or z = - 5 z is an integer or belongs to R

Usually the symbols come after

2z = 25

z=25/2

z2 = 25

z2/2 = 25/2

Divide both sides by 2

z = 25/2

z = 12.5

The andwer is z = 12.5

The solution set is { 12.5 }

ok...

I think it's reading as this:

z * 2 = 25 ... solve for z

ok, here's how you do it

since you have z times 2 on the one side, we can get z by itself by dividing 2 on both sides

We get this:

z = 12.5

i'd take the log of each section. log 5^x = log 24 then circulate the x interior the front of the log. xlog5 = log24 then divide each and each and each and each section by using log5 so as which you x cost would desire to be the respond of log24/log5. you ought to around this to 2 decimal places.
