Yes, definitely. Its precisely the war in Iraq that's causing the rise in oil prices because they are a great source of it. That's the reason why they burned their oil drill sites so that no one would be able to use it. Theory of supply and demand - the demand is always high but the source became limited - hence - the rise in oil.

Absolutely Not! If we would have followed the administration's plan to not be so dependant on foreign oil then we wouldn't be where we are right now. The Bush administration has had plans to develop our own resources but they are constantly shot down by the liberals in the Senate. If the Clinton administration would have had an energy bill back in the 90's whenthey were supposed to, we wouldn't be where we are right now. They didn't have an energy bill and as a nation we shall suffer for it right now.

No the The President has nothing to do with the price of oil. But I wouldn't cry if he were to get rid of the federal gas tax that Clinton put on oil during his term (he actually had a decent reason why,I'm not knocking Clinton).

Yes their actions in the political arena definitely do, the price of oil is directly dependent on the stability of the Middle East and global politics

DUH?

Bush invaded a oil rich country and interrupted oil supplies. What do you think?

Bush also bought up billions of barrel of oil for US reserves, driving up prices.

*****warning bereal and andi are IDIOTS*******

Here's how Bush drove up the prices:

1) After 9/11, he purchased BILLIONS OF BARRELS OF OIL to be stored in the US reserves (when it wasn't necessary) causing the supply to drop, thus driving the price of oil up.

2) Bush raised the $50K tax break to $100K for business owners who purchased GAS GUZZLING SUVs. Many purchased HUMMERS and SUBURBANS (getting 10mpg) and were able to get them FREE due to this tax break.

3) Bush REFUSED to sign a mandate requiring auto manufacturers to RAISE THE MPG, thus making us even more dependent on oil. Raising even 1 MPG would've saved MILLIONS OF BARRELS OF OIL each year!!!!!!!!!!

4) Bush continues to back Cell-Fuel technology FULLY KNOWING THAT THIS TECHNOLOGY IS DECADES AWAY!!!!! If he had backed current technology like HYBRIDs we would save MILLION SO OF BARRELS OF OIL each year!!!!!!!

5) Bush paid BILLIONS of tax payers money to HALIBURTON, Cheney's oil company to rebuild Iraqi oil fields, which he DESTROYED by invading for no reason. He BARRED Haliburton's competitors from bidding for LESS so he and Cheney would get MILLIONS in kickback. If bidding were allowed, it would have saved tax payers at least $700 MILLION!!!!!!!!!!

BUSH IS AN OIL MAN FROM TEXAS... WHAT DA HELL DO YOU THINK HE'LL GAIN FROM CHEAP OIL PRICES? NOTHING!

REMEMBER WHEN GAS PRICES WERE AS LOW AS 89 CENTS IN 2000 UNDER CLINTON? WELL SAY GOODBYE TO THOSE DAYS BECAUSE OF CORRUPT OIL BARONS LIKE BUSH AND CHENEY IN OFFICE.
