Before you wrote this misguided question did you stop to consider that the courtrooms are one of the few places where Liberals are still very much in control?

Wow, your premise is a huge assumption that all neocons want to put people in jail without due process of law. Have a specific example of this charge?

They believe they're above the laws that bind people like you and me. I'm just amazed that the rightwing Supreme Court was fair enough to rule against Bush's violations of the US Constitution concerning Guantanamo prisoners. When Bush packed the court with his buddies, you had to figure it was so they could deliver rulings in his favor.

Trials do no longer take place right this moment and in many cases no longer for months. The defendant in many cases sits in reformatory til the trial in the event that they can not make bail or bail is denied.
