Speak with your school councellor and/or school IT department about their recommendations.

I would go to Wal-Mart or Costco and look at their Toshiba. They are great. (Dells suck).

I should go back to second grade and learn to spell first.

Collage (From the French, coller, to stick) is regarded as a work of visual arts made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. This technique made its first appearance in the early 20th century as a groundbreaking novelty, however with the passing of time it's become ubiquitous.

For example, an artistic collage work may include newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of colored or hand-made papers, photographs, etc., glued to a solid support or canvas.

Its adoption has crossed the boundaries of visual arts. In music, with the advances on recording technology, avant garde artists started experimenting with cutting and pasting since the middle of the 20th century. However in the 1990's and 2000's it's completely apparent that "musical collages" have already become the norm for popular music, especially on rap, hip hop (rap-pop) and electronic music.

I have a dell latitude d610 with integrated wireless. Works great for college. Whatever you end up buying MAKE SURE IT HAS WIRELESS. The most important thing is wireless internet, you never know when your gonna need to look something up online or check email from your professor. I went through 2 years without a laptop and 1 year with it the thing is a blessing, trust me.

Apple. It's convenient, has a great design, is simple and easy to use, plus it has keys that light up in the dark. :)
Acer, if you want something unique that few people own.
(It's pretty awesome.)
Of course, IMB if you need the great power.

consult the college. Do not get an apple if they don't specifically support or allow it. They will not allow you to hook up to their network.
