You want to remember that a minus sign outside of a parenthesis means -1 times whatever is inside the parenthesis, i.e. -(a) = -a. If a is positive, then the product will be a negative. If a is negative, the minus sign outside makes the product, a negative times a negative, a positive. See?

add -9+4, -7+[-6] = -5 -13 = -18. I've gone ahead and added what was separated by commas. Did you mean by the commas for there to be two separate additions?
subtract -3-[-9], 8-[-7] = -3 +9 = 6, 8+7 = 15. Do you wish to subtract fifteen from six now? -9 would be the answer.
multiply 7*[-5] , -4*[-6] = -35, -24.
divide -20 by [-5] = 4.

If you wanted to multiply -35 * (-24), you can quickly multiply (-35)*(-20) adding the product to (-35)*(-4) which will be... 700 +140 = 840.

I wasn't sure if you had two separate multiplication problems after the word multiply, separated by that comma. If by the commas you meant two separate problems, just don't follow the equations past the second stage.
