I was just on ebay searching for a good fairytale movie to buy and i thought i found one (Hans Christian Andersen - My Life As A Fairytale) but when i reference the title with reviews on amazon i got mixed responses. Have you seen this movie and if so did you like it? If not what other movie featuring various fairytales would you reccomend?
I'm looking for real actors not cartoons something on the same level as the 10th kingdom.

Also, try the Princess Bride (unsure of lead role)

Ladyhawke (another I could watch over and over)

"Willow" starring Val Kilmer is an excellent movie. I love it.
"Ever After" starring Drew Barrymore is once of those really good love type of fairytales. It's basically a "Cinderella" type of movie.
"The Brother's Grimm" starring Matt Damon was also good. This one got a few mixed responses from it, so I suggest renting it first before buying. It's a whole bunch of differnet classic fairytales rolled into one movie.

Ever After is the best fairytale I've ever seen. If you've never seen it you're missing out, big time! Other good ones are Legend, and Ella Enchanted.

The Brothers Grimm is an excellent fairy tale movie - in fact, watching it you have to pay attention & pick out the many many referrences to all of the different fairy tales they bring in! It was an excellent film. See The Princess Bride, as well - my perennial favorite.

The Princess Bride is a classic.
Laberyinth is good, as well.
You might try Finding Neverland, also.

Hoodwinked! i just watched this with my kids and it was great. Its about a police investigation into little red riding hood.
