They either don't know the meaning of the word "going commando" or they do in which case they are wearing no undergarments.

Going commando means to not wear underpants.....though they are probably just joking about the clothing.

Having just found out 'bout this myself =) it's when the lady decides to go out in the buff/ stark naked but under clothing of course otherwise it's indecent exposure!

Usually means she is not wearing under pants. But if it is when they are wearing camo, they might mean "enrolled in military" you know, "commander" not sure though...
