I need a new laptop. Right now I have a desktop pc and laptop pc. If I bought an apple laptop, would it be a total pain to have both a pc and an apple?

hmmmm...
actually, you should buy a pc laptop
both of your present computer so that the files will be the same type
other reasons:
1. you can set up a network and transfer files easier
2. you can buy 1 program for all your computers
3. people have more exp. on PC's so it will be easier to fix
4. more programs run on PC's

if you buy a PC, buy a Windows
but wait until 2007 (if possible) so that you can buy a Vista laptopl (it will cost a lot but it is worth it)

Vista has so many benefits that i can't name them all

Yes and no, but it really depends what you'd be doing with both/all the computers. Some files may not be compatible if you'll be doing much file sharing between the two. Very few programs are cross-platform, so if you plan on installing programs you already have on the Apple, you'll need to verify that the program has both Windows & Mac capability. Hope that helps!

well since the interfaces are totally different, but u could install windows onto the apple mac, machine.. but if u did whats the point in getting a mac. that are hard to upgrade laptops all look the same as in colour style and boring to look at compared to a windows based laptop, all colours designs etc.

Not anymore it's not. The new mac computers can actually run both windows and Mac OSX. You can set it up with a program called bootcamp. Also macs are pretty much completely compatible with everything so it shouldn't be a problem.

No, you should just throw away your PC..those things are junk anyway. Apples are the best on the market, and don't get viruses or slow down due to spyware.
