There's not much to do for a broken toe....if you went to the emergency room all they would do is tape it to the toe next to the broken one and tell you to take Tylenol for the pain.

I have totally broekn my toes like 10 times and I know- it hurts like the devil doesnt it? My little toe is still crooked to this day!!! Once your mom calms down- go to her and calml;y say- Mom this really hurts alot- I really think its broken and the pain is only getting worse. She can take u to get x rays. Really theres not much they can do for a broken toe except wrap it for protection while it heals and give ya pain killers to help the pain go away! But atleast then your mom will know u r telling the truth! I have a 15 year old son and ZI would never deprive him a doctor when he is hurt! Not in a million years!!! Talk to her but stay extrmemely calm!!! Good luck

Why are you grounded? What else did you do? I don't believe you broke your toe, told your mom, she didn't believe you and grounded you. What else happened in the midst of this toe breaking saga? Anyway, nothing you can really do for a broken toe besides ice and tape it. But hey, at least you can type questions and surf the net.

Hi! My mom is a nurse. The only thing your doc is going to do is tape your toes. So get your mom to get you some ice to reduce swelling and wait a little while. If your toe still hurts and it bruises, it may be broken. Tape it to the next toe--make sure it's straight--and leave it be. Take some Ibprofen (as long as you're not allergic) and relax.

i had a broken toe and i had to wear this wierd shoe thing! but its all better now!!! if the swelling hasnt happened yet go get some dark eyeshadow/blush and put it on ur toe so it look discolored! again, i had a broken toe so i know its not fun!!! dont put to much pressure on it! if ur sitting on a chair or laying in bed get a pillow (if ur in bad) or like a stool or something and put ur foot ontop of it!!! u probably heard of the popsicle and duct tape idea right? well i dought that you have that stuff in ur room, so get pencils and some tape and do the same thing! don't put a sock or shoe on it yet! if you have a phone call a family member of friend to get advice! i REALLY hope this helps!!!good luck! byeas!!!

p.s.- ur mom sounds mean!! ggggggggggrrrrrrrrr!!!! to her!!!

Get the ice, but bad news. There's absolutely nothing that can be done for a broken toe, other than taping it up after the swelling goes down.

put some ice on it. Tell your mom to at least get that for you. Then maybe she will know you are serious. That is all they would do for you right now if you went to the doctor. The swelling has to go down first. Good luck and don't fret too much. Toes are quick healers. Stay off it if you can!

I have broken many of my toes and sorry to tell you but the hospital won't do anything for such a small bone. If your mom ever lets you out of your room put some ice on it. Is it turning colours yet? (bruising)

Just use and ice pack for the swelling, bind the toe with a band aid and take some ibuprofen. They don't put casts on toes anymore.
And ask your mom why she is so mad at you for getting hurt.

Well....although this probably wont make you feel any better....doctors dont do anything for a broken toe (they cant cast it, etc)...you really just have to wait it out and try to stay off of it as much as possible!! So, even if your mom DID believe you and took you to the doctor, they would not do anything for you as far as fixing it....they would tell you to stay off of it as much as possible!! So, take some tylenol or ibuprophin to relieve some of the pain, ice it, and stay off it is as much as you can....Good Luck
