I have been checking my cervix for about 3 months now. Two days ago my hubby & I had sex, unprotected of course, we are trying to concieve. I check my cervix everyday b/c I am irregular on my cycles. When I checked it yesturday I was able to see enough mucus that was clear like egg whites and was able to stretch it between my fingers atleast 1" if not more. I am wondering if it could havebeen *** from my hubby the night b4.I showered after we had sex so I would think everthing was cleaned out from him going in me but I don't know for sure. Could it have been his *** or was it me ovualting. Also today when i checked my cervic it was it was soft like the insdie of my check and i also was able to get some clear egg whites, and lotion mucus on my fingers. I am praying that I am ovualting but am not sure. this may b 2 much info but my fingers are very short so I am not a 100% sure that i can even reach my cervix enough to get much mucus. what do u think?

I have read the book taking charge of your fertitly and it says about checking your cervix , (I make sure I wash my hands really good before interting them) and also mentions that you may not want to use ovulatation kits b/c they may not predict that you are ovulating until it is over with.

also I have to check my cervix b/c it does not come out onto my underwear for some reason. Never has all my life! I also feel a little tingling pulling senstation in my lower stomach and my breast are slightly tender.

I have the same thing the day after having sex....and when you are checking cervical mucus for ovulation you have to ignore the days after intercourse because of that problem....you should try using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Montior its like $200 buck but it will tell you when you ovulate easier then checking the cerival mucus... you also need to know if your cycles are regular to know when your ovulation

Your best bet is to really use some kind of ouvlation prediction kit. Checking for cervical mucus and position so frequently can lead to bacteria and infection. You might also want to try BBT charting, which is charting your basal body temps to help predict ovulation.

Stretchy cervix mocus means have sex now! it is very normal and it is not your husband's sperm, it is your body telling you you are in your most fertile days. Good luck!

It sounds like you are ovulating. Ejaculate from your husband would clot very quickly and would not be egg white in consistancy so long afterwords.

Go to a pharmacy and get one of those testers. There are ones that tell you within a week I think, not sure.

what are you pressing on your cervix for?????? that is not necessary . . watch the discharge you are having and chart your basal body temp . . . that is all you have to do . .. good luck
