Exxon Mobil common stock, obtained in July 1992 (long before President G. W. Bush gained office) has gained 470%, plus a 3.17% annual diviidend at current prices. Nice profit on money that I worked hard for and saved, and this profit was available to anyone, regardless of their politics.

My condolences to those who spent their money on cigarettes and drinks at the bar instead.

Nothing, but like everything else it cost me more but not nearly as bad as the cost of oil and long lines when Jimmy Carter was in office. The price of oil is not a result of any particular administration. Forget McDonalds and get an education.

anyone who knows anything about the industry has known this was coming for a long time.

blame california,
they could be producing fifty times as much oil as they do, but they are more concerned about plants and animals than producing more oil and building new refineries.
the "not in my back yard" mentality of california, sitting right on the ring of fire, is hilarious.

Not one blastid red cent and I live in the same oil and gas state that he's from. It hasn't even saved me that much on the price of a gallon of gas from what is being paid elsewhere in the US.
