I just won an aquarium on ebay this morning and will soon be shelling out 152$.
I was wondering what your biggest purchase you've made (size or $$$) is, was it shipped or did you have to pick it up, was it an easy transaction, etc.?
I have to travel 4.5 hours to pick up my new playtoy. I'm really excited though. I almost missed the ending time because I miscalculated when the auction would end. I'm glad I logged in early to check my mail!

bought a laptop for about $300.00 It's worth it, it's very nice and fast. It was shipped and the transaction was smooth. I had to stop going to ebay though, I'm getting addicted to it.

I've mostly bought blouses and jewelry on ebay plus some camera and nintendo stuff. Most has come from overseas.I don't often spend over $100.. I don't think I would have the courage to do a pick-up. I like delivery. I have had large aquariums and love it! Have fun. Be sure and get some bubble sticks for it they are great and the fish love to swim through them.

My biggest purchase was for an autograph of Ashley Judd which cost about $50, my dad though has bought a guitar on there for $175, and he had to meet the guy to pick it up like you are doing. :) I don't do a lot of my big spending on ebay, I usually go to stores for the big stuff.

I bought candles from a seller, and still haven't received them. That was 2 months ago. I even emailed her numerous times asking what was going on and havent' heard no reply. She has an ebay store and everything. At the time her rating was 99.8 positive, but now I noticed it's really bad.

My biggest was a dirt bike that I bought my son for Christmas. It was one of those mini ones. Costed a couple hunderd dollars. It was the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen.
