Well they said you can go to Victoria's Secret and they can do it for you... but if you really wanna do the measuring yourself at home, here's what you should do...

First, make sure when you do your measurements, wear a comfy fitting bra that is unpadded, keep the tape snug and tight.

BRA MEASUREMENT 1: Measure around the chest, just under the arms and around the bust. This is your BRA SIZE. If it ends wit an odd number (like 1,3,5,7,9) add 1".

Double check your bra size by measuring around the ribs, just below your bust, and adding 5". For example, if you measure 29", YOUR BRA size is 34". If your underbust measurement is 33" or more, add only 3". If bra size is an odd number (ends in 1,3,5,7,9), add 1".

BRA MEASUREMENT 2: Measure around the fullest point of bust, keep the tape level without pulling tight.

The difference between measurement 1 & 2 equal CUP SIZE

DIFFERENCE

0" = AA
1" = A
2" = B
3" = C
4" = D
5" = DD
6" = DDD

First of all, get a tape measure(one used for sewing will do).
1.)To get your number bra size, take a snug(tight) measurement under the bust and add 5" to the number you get. Ex. If it's 29 under bust +5= 34 bra size. If total is an uneven number, go up one to the next even number. Ex. 30"+ 5"= 35 or 36
2.) To get your cup size,take a loose measurement over the fullest part of your bust, and compare it to your bra size. If the measurement is the same as the bra size, you wear an AA cup. If it's not the same follow below:
If it's 1" larger=A cup
If it's 2" larger= B cup
If it's 3" larger= C cup
If it's 4" larger= D cup
If it's 5" larger= DD cup
If it's 6" larger = DDD cup

If you go to Victorias secret they will measure you. But if you want to do it at home you measure the length around under your boobs and add 5 inches. So if you are 29 inches around and you add 5 inches then you are a 34. Then you measure around the fullest part of your boobs. For every inch of difference between the band size adds a cup size. So if you measure 1 inch more (35) then you are an A cup. 2 inches more a B cup and so on...

I wouldn't even try. Go to a really good store, Victoria Secrets, for one is very professional. They will help you and not make you feel uncomfortable. I had a mastectomy with reconstruction and had no idea, they were great

Victoria's Secret does sizing. You will not have to remove anything, and it will be in private by the dressing rooms.
