So as long as there is no spark, it will not go BOOM and have stinkness everywhere? But what about the gas building up on it's own, wouldn't the gas make the containor pop (explode)?

waste as in the stuff that comes out the other side? Yes...the "waste" would be decomposed by bacteria and produce gasses (mostly methane) this gas would heat-up and eventually (if there were enough "waste") if the methane got hot enough would explode.

You would need a lot of manure to make an explosive. I believe the Oklahoma City bombing used fertilizer, and manure is used in a lot of fertilizer. You would need to build up the methane gas (fart gas), but you would need a spark.
