Here are some other things that Jesus never condemned explicitly. Does that mean these things are okay too?

Taking drugs
Abusing animals
Polluting the earth
Peeing on the sidewalk
Slacking off at work
Bestiality
Pedophilia
Walking out of the restaurant without paying
Skipping class in high school
Having sex in public
Driving drunk
Not cleaning your house for a year
Not wiping your butt after a bowel movement
Eating spaghetti with your hands in public

And many more ...

Wow, you are just not bright.

Doing this would violate "Love Thy Neighbor":
Abusing animals
Polluting the earth
Slacking off at work
Bestiality
Pedophilia
Walking out of the restaurant without paying
Driving drunk

Doing these would violate "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind"
Taking drugs
Abusing animals
Polluting the earth
Peeing on the sidewalk
Slacking off at work
Bestiality
Pedophilia
Walking out of the restaurant without paying
Having sex in public
Driving drunk

I don't think that God cares if you skip class in high school or don't clean your house for a year. However skipping class might violate the whole "honor thy mother and father" bit.

And both toilet paper and forks are reccent inventions, so God is A-OK with not wiping your butt after a bowel movement (because in Jesus's time there was nothing to wipe with, so Jesus himself probably never did) or eating spaghetti with your hands in public (since all food in Jesus's time was eaten with your hands or with shallow spoon-like things).

Again, try actually READING the Bible, in particular Matthew 22:36-40 or try READING a book about the history of early Christianity, Middle Eastern History, or Roman history. Again, that is READING - Left to right, top to bottom, take advil for any headaches, midol for any cramps.

You state that the items above are wrong, yet not mentioned in the bible. Then how do we know they are wrong? Because society as a whole has found them unacceptable behavior.
The bible does mention some items, like slavery and eating of pork. It finds this behavior acceptable. However society has changed and no finds it unacceptable.
Society changes. The viewpoint of man changes. The same men that wrote the bible. When GOD or his son comes to earth and write down that being Gay is a sin, then we will listen. However until then the bible is a book written by man with many flaws in it.
Last if you were such a good christian you would stop just judging us as the bible say to

I think you had a good question that maybe got off track. I don't know if you were looking for an honest response or just trying to incite anger in the homosexual community here (i.e. not wiping...). Correlating someones lifestyle to something that disgusting, even if you believe it is that disgusting, is not a way to gain any type of understanding and I'm sure you know that by some of the responses that you have received. Maybe your question should have centered more about homosexual's opinion of what the book of Leviticus states. Maybe you would be called a "bible-thumper", but that would then be their rudeness and not yours.

It isn't a "justification." It simply is a fact, used to counter the obnoxious idea that Christ specifically condemned homosexuality, thus the repressive attitude of Christians towards homosexuality is justified. Learn to think critically and you will avoid wasting 5 points in the future.

they don't have to justify homosexuality to anyone. but when some right wing homo-hatin fanatic that thinks he's doing the lord gods work gets all up in their face and says "THE BIBLE SAID THAT....."

Then they have every right to dispute that by saying that Jesus (who might be a higher authority than the bible) didn't mention a thing about homosexuality.
In other words, They aren't justifying it, they are refuting you.

now, about those other things you mention. Those things up there don't involve civil rights.

you'll have to come up with a better case than this.

Because Jesus never said a single word about homosexuality. Perhaps you should spend a little more time reading the bible and a little less time judging others.

incorrect! they're the coolest Chrsitians that stay Chrisitian even with the unfavourable human thoughts and movements of the undesirable Chrsitians like your self inclusive of your intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and love of persecuting individuals that disraces god and Chrsitianity! Anglican leaders from international reiterated their opposition to the "victimisation or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, asserting demonising and persecuting them exchange into "completely against Christian charity and uncomplicated recommendations of pastoral care". "we are saying that no you will could stay in concern by using bigotry of others." The mormons poured tens of millions into forcing by way of prop 8 in CA: to prohibit gay marriage. In August 2010 the courtroom held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco courtroom upheld that determination because of the fact it violates the constitutional rights of voters. that's now finding forward to the proper courtroom verdict it quite is expected to uphold the early courtroom determination. If that happens then gay marriage will exchange into criminal everywhere and which would be marriage and not civil partnership! The loving god works in mysterious techniques.

It's a rebuttal to the main argument of people who are against homosexuality: that it is a sin. The gays are simply saying that they have no reason not to be gay. Jesus never encouraged gay-bashing, but people do it anyway.

Many of the things you describe that jesus didn't condemn are AGAINST THE LAW.

Being gay isn't.

Some of the other things you describe are simply lifestyle choices... not matters of right and wrong.

MOST of the things you describe have nothing at all to do with human sexuality.

NOTHING you described has ANYTHING at all to do with homosexuality.

Your ability to call apples oranges is starting to amaze me.
