DVD to avi?

I ahve several DVD movies and want to backup them. Anyone know how to convert a DVD to avi so that vedio can be backup? or any method is welcome. Thanks

Go to download.com and then put in "DVD to avi" but don't include the quotation marks. You should be able to find a program that is free and suitable for your needs.

Yeah, you will need to find a software that deals with the conversions.
